NOTES

Yes, as stated in TMF, "Flying" (RM4) is from a batch of acetates sold at a Sotheby's auction December 22nd, 1981. The others were "Magical Mystery Tour" (RM7), "Blue Jay Way" (RM1), and "Your Mother Should Know" (rough mix of take . All four were eventually booted by Yellow Dog.

Retail and Auction Description - 2019

. A single sided 7 inch Emidisc acetate for The Beatles song ‘Ariel Instrumental (Flying)'. The song is different to the released version. Six different takes of the song were recorded on 8 th September 1967 and the song was the first to be credited to Harrison/Lennon/McCartney/Starkey. It was cut by EMI engineer Peter Vince. The acetate looks very good condition, plays excellent condition.
