The first details I can locate are on an eBay auction, not for this disc but another Beatles title where the owner listed over another sixteen discs he was to offering for sale. Unfortunately as no details were posted by the seller I have few details. In 2017 the disc appeared in the catalogue of a respected UK store Tracks and I thought it had been sold, but it reappeared in October 2018 with a new catalogue number, however it also appeared on eBay being offered for sale by theelectricstoreusa |

Auction Description 2025 Rare 7-inch Emidisc acetate for the 1965 Beatles song ‘You Like Me Too Much,' which was written by George Harrison and recorded at the EMI Recording Studio in London on February 17, 1965. The record retains its original Emidisc label, which is annotated in blue ink, “You Like Me Too Much, 45, AB, The Beatles,” and marked in pencil with “George,” ostensibly. The initials “AB” are in reference to EMI engineer A. B. Lincoln, who cut the disc. In fine condition. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks. Auction Description 2020+21An original single sided 7 inch Emidisc acetate for The Beatles song ‘You Like Me Too Much'. It was recorded on 17 th February 1965 and mixed on the 18 th and 23 rd February 1965. The song appeared on The Beatles 1965 album HELP! The disc was cut by EMI engineer A. B. Lincoln.
