The third 'Hodge Podge' release from the Yellow Dog team on their lesser sister label. Whilst the previous titles had something going albeit low quality this can't even manage decent artwork, with all artwork being a computer variations of the same image. The disc contents are not much better with a few tracks from the Abbey Road Show, scattered around with some previously released 'White' outtakes and numerous OUTFAKES. Hidden in amongst all this are three tracks which are reputably from a film production acetate for A Hard Day's Night . They are clearly from a 'record' source, but I can not identify any variations between these and the commercial releases. There are three pressed releases that I have been able to identify, the usual Japanese and subsequent European release as with other titles of the period. Interestingly all three have different fonts for the release title on the disc and the one also has recreated spines on the tray art, which is similar to the Japanese label font. |
