Whilst there have been dozens of CD releases of the famous Sessions release, this CD neither replicates the line-up or even full artwork The audio is sourced from previous vinyl releases but remains probably one of the most important bootleg CD releases, along with the other two EMI FAKE releases this was the first yes first Beatles bootleg CD.

The myth is that a student blagged an American CD manufacturer, Technetronics, to produce 5000 discs for an EMI promotion. These were originally offered as a Limited Edition Deluxe Promos to celebrate The Beatles Silver Anniversary of Love Me Do. Original offered with the other two discs, without bonus packaging, for over $300, however it was not long before each title were offered separately.

I have however only been able to trace details of a numbered 'Sessions' disc, which are hand numbered and limited to 500 copies. All three titles sold for around $125 a piece. A very steep price for discs sourced from vinyl.

In the summer of 1989 the last of the deluxe versions became available at a fraction of the original price and then finally the remaining stock without artwork. I have seen several copies with a simple typed track listing as cover , but these maybe a dealer insert.

3. No artwork , some with typed track listing
