Comments:

Firstly I should tackle the title of this release, many publications refer to it as Oldies but Goldies Live-Over 20 Years Old, this is incorrect and the title should be either as it appears on the cover as Live... London-Melbourne-Munchen or as I prefer just London-Melbourne-Munchen which appears on the disc an tray spine. The reason for the bold statement of being over 20 years old is in relation to the copyright law in Europe at the time of release making this title legal in law but maybe not so morally . Whilst the hole in the copyright law has now been closed there were many such releases at the time which became know as 'protection gap' releases.

An unusual early CD bootleg from 1988 or early 1989, starting with three BBC tracks faked out with echo and audience noise and purporting to be London 1964 , followed by two reasonable quality shows Melbourne 1964 and Munich 1966.

Whilst the new format and providing good quality shows, not lifted from vinyl like some other releases, Melbourne unfortunately was incomplete with the Pyramid release Live in Melbourne 1964 and Paris 1965 being the choice at this stage. What was to give this Koine release core status was indeed the Munich show which was a good lift from video tape, albeit that it did not include the incomplete She's A Woman

Not surprisingly as better sources and mastering became available this title lost it's core status and this title will now only be of interest to the completest or historian.

Any one owning or looking for this this title should be aware that it is known to suffer from CD Bronzing and should there be any discoloration from silver a back up copy should be made.
