with the limited edition bonus DVDR including the Jonas mekas film from
teh same evening. Little new material, if any is likely to be available
with the Unbootleg Volume 18 previously filling in previous gaps. |
Release Notes:The complete tape from 9th October 1971.Recorded at John's
31st Birthday party in a Syracuse hotel room. It is an all-star jam
session where they are are joined by Ringo and Maureen, Klaus Voorman,
Allen Ginsberg, Jim Keltner, Mal Evans, Neil Aspinall and Eric Clapton. Recorded March 28, 1974, Burbank Studios, Los Angeles. Lennon was producing Harry Nilsson's latest album, Pussy Cats, when Paul and Linda McCartney dropped in on the Burbank Studios session on March 28, 1974. They were joined by Stevie Wonder, Harry Nilsson, Jesse Ed Davis, May Pang, Bobby Keys and producer Ed Freeman for an impromptu jam session. Lennon was in his "lost weekend" |
