An interesting penultimate release from Spank, whilst remaining core since its release over a decade ago. As the first release of the Seattle material this title was clearly going to obtain 'core' status, but the low quality audience recording makes this concert of historical interest only.
The source of each show gets progressively worse, from the copying of the excellent Masterdisc title Atlanta '65 , Video for the Munich Show and finally an audience tape for Seattle. Seattle has now been released by on the Internet label Darth Discs Northwest Nights in better quality and complete.
The packaging is in the usual 'Vigotone' format of High Quality Slip case and booklet, which was exceptional. Unfortunately it was not available with latter copies.
The March 2000 Vigotone order form, shows the title is now available WITHOUT the Slip case and 36 page book, does any one have any earlier order form images so I can check when slip case and books stopped being issued.
A factory pressed fake is easy to identify with the cover based upon the booklet, amended copyright date on rear cover and black screen printed disc. AVOID this version if you are looking for the Seattle show as it has been replaced with the Philadelphia 2 Sep 1964 concert.
There also appear to be a 27 track version and one with errors.
The CDR fake was released in commercial quantities and appears with varying qualities of paper stock and image quality, I have assumed this to be an Italian CDR because of other 'bar-coded' screen printed discs with 'OWCD' catalogue numbers- further details are on the CDR pages.
