Comments:

An eight CD Box set with with detailed 28 page book with many pictures and an Overview of the available Twickenham Sessions and a History of 'Get Back Session' Bootlegs.

This set is hard to come buy and was reissued in the same format in late 1997 or early 1998 with CDR's as Vigotone were not pressing factory silver discs at this time, additionally a Fake was issued around this time, unfortunately these sets were miss pressed and for years it was believed that these were sourced from the genuine CDR's which were also miss pressed this is incorrect.

Unfortunately some of the original sets have their problems, suffering from a frosting that stops the disc from being played. Some people have reported as been able to clean these with non abrasive cleaners.

"features a great deal of previously unheard "All Things Must Pass" rehearsals, which includes George's "you're so full of shit" comment to Paul (which is clearly not the "punky put on" that Beatle history has painted it to be). Certainly the highlight of this disc is a lengthy oldies jam session from January 6th, featuring never-before-heard performances of "Sure To Fall" and "Right String, Wrong Yo-Yo".

"features a great deal of historically important recordings. First off are fragments of a lengthy conversation about the planned live performance which clearly illustrate how Yoko had usurped John's role in the decision making process of the group. This is followed by an incredibly extensive look at the evolution of "Don't Let Me Down", with over forty minutes of rehearsal presented in their original context for the first time. Capping off the disc is an unedited presentation of the "fight" between Paul and George, which was presented in a distorted manner in the film "Let It Be".

Notes

NB1 When this set was released it was thought that the 'Live Show Dialogue' , track 1 Disc 2 preceeded 'I'm Talking About You' . However in 1996 more material became available which led to reviews of all material. With the 6th January tracks being heavily reorganised.
