Out of the Blue and a considerable break Yellow Cat/Dog Japan announced two
new releases A Day In The Life and Beaucoups Of Blues
The Acetate Version with almost immediate availability. New style of artwork
and catalogue numbers led to speculation that these were not genuine; time has
proved them to be so.
The reviews for Ringo's release seem very much to dependent upon whether the
writer likes this genre of Ringo's varied recording canon. Leaving this aside
if you liked the original you will love this 'Acetate Version' which is clearly
the real deal , with material that could not e created form currently available
sources.
Unfortunately the release is very short at under 39 minutes and all but label
collectors may wish to look for a copy of this hard to find Japanese release.
A European label Stamp Out The Beatles released a
compilation release Nashville Blues including this
complete set along with bonus tracks running to 80 minutes.
