Comments:
A great collection of John material that is very listenable , but the disc
the feeler of being a sampler disc for the latter excellent deluxe book and
double CD's on their new label His Master's Choice
. Having said that there is material here that didn't make the deluxe sets so
yo will need both.
Part of the new new look Yellow Dog/Cat, the distinctive yellow segmented disc
art has gone and what is left looks like a homemade thermal printed label, this
was also used for the Yellow Dog release A Hard Day's Night
(The MPI video mix) - . Initially it looked as if this was due to a change
in plant and the inability to print multiple colours , but the subsequent His
Master's Choice titles show this to be incorrect.
Surprisingly there was no European release despite the latter HMC release being
pressed with two variations.
