Comments:

A rare and interesting release that many collectors will have heard of but, but have never seen or heard. Whilst originally there was great excitement about a unique mix of The End, this is now thought to have been manipulated.

The album contains extracts of an interview John gave Tony McArthur, in mid September 1969, promoting the forth coming
Abbey Road release. The interview was first broadcast on Radio Luxembourg, on the 27 September 1969 and became available complete without the songs on an Internet release Lost TV And Radio Luxumborg Broadcasts in 1999. This was subsequently copied by several labels including Blackbird Records which replaced the broadcast music with the 'Stereo' versions and maybe your preferred source.

The majority of the musical content has been copied from Audifön Records - No. 3 Abbey Road N.W. 8 and provides nothing new. The Mean Mr. Mustard/ Madman track is from the Get Back Sessions and as yet unidentified vinyl source.

Finally the track which caused the excitement The End reputably an alternate mix with the final Piano note not available on the commercial release. The track is of lesser quality than the other tracks and has the vocals intact, an alternate drum solo the final note and some other elements missing. So is it genuine or a FAKE? It may well be an alternate mix, but it has clearly been manipulated so I have classified it as a FAKE. Interestingly despite it being over two and half decades since it's release this track has not appeared on any other release, other than as rip from this title. If you are interested in listening to this obscurity you can locate a copy on the RAR / Darthdisc fan release As It Happened Baby

The release was allegedly limited to just 500 numbered copies with the number written as xxx/500 with a black fibre tipped pen.
