Simultaneously released with Outakes 1 in the Summer of 1972, from the same source as the Yellow Matter Custard.

Whilst TMQ mastered the source tapes, subsequently copied by other labels, clearly the tape didn't including any broadcast elements, originally believing that the material was studio sessions, hence the 'Outakes' titles. Several tracks are truncated.

In Spring 1973 the two 'Outakes' LPs were paired as a budget release with a single double stamped sleeve, with no slick, both slicks and finally a new composite slick with TMQ7508 catalogue number.
