Comments:

Between 1976 and 1977 Joe Pope through his Strawberry Fields Forever fanzine released two track at a time, of the unreleased Decca sessions, on coloured vinyl singles, seven in all making a total of fourteen of the fifteen tracks. In 1978 he released all fifteen on this unbranded LP without a colour cover and Several songs are clipped and the recording is dry, without the reverb present on latter versions.

Joe Pope/SFF's plan 'to take our time and do a job worthy of the Beatles' talent for this album ( and the final single)', was very much scuppered by the release of The Decca Tapes, Circuit Records, albeit from an alternate source. As a result he released the album including the final Decca track in a plain white cover.

These thin white sleeved releases have subsequently been accompanied with various dealer slicks/inserts and/or fan decoration.
