Shea The Good Old Days

A repress of the Kustom Rekords release Live At Shea, which we all know now was actually the 1964 Hollywood Bowl concert, leading to all sorts of confusion as it was later released as the Hollywood show from a stamper made from the same master.

A further reissue from the master of the Pine Trees release, did little to help the confusion also being marketed as either Shea or Hollywood Bowl depending up the label and /or pressing. Further reissues were available with a variety of covers and labels, probably best viewed below.

A pirate pressing with a large generic label has been pressed from a defective stamper, and despite being a variant is best avoided.

A far more interesting variant was made by John T.& Larry, who purchased around 500 of the small generic labeled, matrix 1 pressings and correctly identified the show and set about creating their own cover. Cutting images from a magazine and using rub off letters, in Larry's bedroom they created the first Wizardo release.
