Whilst the 'Decca Tape' was first released two tracks at a time, on coloured 7" singles, by an American Fanzine, with the intention of releasing an album of all fifteen, Audifön been him to it with what may be the first The Beatles Picture Disc bootleg. The subsequent reissue with a deluxe sleeve with detailed 'bogus' story looked like an official release and set the bench mark for the release of this historical material , which continues to be copied for over three decades. |
