Live Paris Olympia

In the Summer of 1973, Contra Band Music, on their Shalom sub label brought a new show to collectors, sourced from a TV broadcast. The cover identifies the contents as The Beatles Live Paris Olympia January 1964, correctly identifying only the city.
The show was later correctly identified as the evening show of the 20 June 1965, which was broadcast on Channel 2, French TV, and the song order follows the broadcast order. Probably sourced from videotape, the audio is only of average quality and has since appeared in excellent quality.

In 1975 side 1 was repressed as part of the Super live Concert Series on their Godzilla label still incorrectly identified and despite the album title Complete Italy << >> Paris , far from complete.

Whilst an incomplete show the title retained Core Status until the European release of a A Paris, a deluxe packaged double LP with not one but three Paris concerts.
