Comments:

We are all use to bootlegs having unusual titles, but 30 Nostalgia Hits, seemed strange and lacked context until I came across an advert at the back of Yesterday & Today - US 1975 magazine .

Whilst considered the first The Beatles related Wizardo title, John T., in a Q&A in 2020, confirmed that Jimmy had already prepared this title with his own 'Fan -Buy Marketing' labels, when he started work with him. This could explain why Help! also has a WRMB101 partial designation. John T. didn't hold back, saying he didn't like it, and he may have told Jimmy the stampers had been damaged in an attempt to stop further runs being pressed. He did however say he thought that only one pressing had been made, which is clearly inaccurate. My current thinking is that the SP602 variant is a Jimmy only pre-Wizardo release .

Whilst John said he didn't like this release, in late 1975 single LP releases were made using the stampers. I suspect that John was now aware of the improved Hollywood source, releasing Record 1 with various titles, covers and labels. Where as record 2, almost exclusively retained Jimmy's 'Fan-Buy' label and a single slick derived from a postcard and the the cover of the probably source of the Japanese show, TAKRL's 1973 release On Stage In Japan The 1966 Tour. He even retained the inaccurate track listing , which clearly confused many fans who annotated their slicks.

Alternate Pressings

The label style of Record 2, with exception of one variation didn't change through out and continued to the multi-coloured vinyl releases of the single LP release On Stage In Japan The 1966 Tour . This is probably more down to Jimmy than John T. who has said he didn't like the release.
