Flyer/ticket

The first thing I can clarify is that the images are from a Super-8 reel sold at auction 1996 , which were latter attributed to the Floral Hall , Southport. After some investigations and looking at images of the stages at the Floral Hall and the Technical College Birkenhead , I am strongly of the opinion that the footage is not at either of these locations.

The original film also includes footage of the audience , people drinking and playing snooker, which may be the same location. If anyone has the non Beatles footage and is able to provide a copy or stills could you email me.

Unfortunately we have no audio recording or play list for the show but it is likely to be similar to that played at the Oasis Club on the 2nd February. Should the Super-8 amateur footage be of this show , it clearly shows two songs , neither of which have yet to be identified , with a George and Paul lead vocal .

Interestingly a pre-concert flyer, stamped paid indicates that this evening show was a Beat Session staring The Zereos and The Fabulous Beatles, was this just an adjective or one of the latter name variations that the group continued to have until at least July 1962. For the return visit on the 10 March 1962 , they are headlined as just The Beatles.

There appears to be several variation of ticket/flyer fro both shows and I would appreciate more information if you have any.
