Alternate Mixes

September 1994 - Alternate take on a 7" acetate was sold at Southeby's .
It should be noted that this coincides with the locating a Take from '11/09/62', Anthology 1 Notes .

However in my opinion the track on this album does not match the data provided by Lewisohn who states the song was' like a Roy Orbison number, very slow , bluesy vocals. George Martin, at the 11th September session, is quoted as saying that the song should be looked at in the next session with the tempo needing increasing and tighter harmonies. Unfortunately this appears to be the case on the take on Anthology Vol.1 .

Raising doubts in my mind as to whether this the Anthology Take come form the earlier session, there is also no note of any remixing at the September session, recording sheet is limited though.

Any thoughts views documentation mailto: Moptop.
