Retail Description - 2025

A Dick James Music Limited acetate for the Beatles song ‘Michelle'. The song appeared on the Beatles album ‘Rubber Soul' which was released in the UK on 3 rd December 1965. The single was released on 9 th April 1965 and it went to number one in both the UK and USA.

Provenance: from the collection of Julian Lennon.

The condition is very good.


Auction Description - 2025

A 45 RPM acetate record single of The Beatles 1965 song "Michelle," with a Dick James Music white label, in plain white sleeve. 

Composed primarily by Paul McCartney, with the middle eight co-written with John Lennon, "Michelle" appeared on The Beatles sixth studio album Rubber Soul.
