2004 - Auction InfoBefore you is the beatle's 45 emidisc white label acetate "tell me why." it's in extremely good condition considering the time it played in history. I have played the acetate just once and the sound is impeccable. The flip side is not labeled. The acetate was acquired at Christie's auction house in london. Christie's auction stamp is at the top right corner. This was part of john lennon's collection. It was sold from cynthia lennon's estate. Documents from christie's auction house to accompany sale. The acetate has been in my collection since 1991. A great piece to enhance anyone's collection of beatle's memorabilia. Rating: extremely good. Light surface scratches, no gorges, no cracks, no chips, no warping. |
1991 - Auction InfoA single-sided acetate Tell Me Why, Emidisc white label inscribed in Geoff Emerick's hand, 1964. |
