NOTES

The first trace of this acetate I can trace is the 2009 auction, which describes it as the released version with no label inscription, which very much undersells the disc when compared with the authenticated copies from Brian and John. When spectral analysed you can clearly see an inscription on the glue darkened label, with 'ELL ME' being visible when compared with the other two 7" cuts.

Auction Descriptions 2009

This is a rare single sided 7" Uk Emidisc acetate the title is 'Tell Me Why', was released on the 'A Hard Day Night' lp in 1964.

This is an interesting demo disc which contains the released version.

The song was never released on a single in England. There is no writing on the label.

It comes in a white sleeve.

Condition of disc :

The playing surface has lots of marks all over but nothing major.

There are soft crackling throughout but no skips or jumps.

The look I would say is Very Good but the sound quality is even better, it is excellent.
