Auction Description 2015

This item was originally purchased by a Japanese collector 30 years ago.

Due to his age he decided to sell his items to me. A collector who was buying Beatles memorabilia and records. He did not know that this item was a different outtake from the released version. We listened to it yesterday and we realised the difference. The recording took place during 1967 september to october. Recording is done by Mono This acetate version is overall very similar to the released version. From the middle of the song the vocal dynamic is much greater than the official version. Also the tambourine is not included from the middle of the song. The end of the song includes George Harrison's voice saying something like "okay" . I have compared the UK 2 disc Compact Magical Mystery Tour and this acetate to spot the difference.

Tracks (Japan) Webiste Description (2015)

Single-sided disc of "BLUE JAY WAY", is Reateiku of unpublished! It is not recorded in bootlegs. The difference is that the missing tambourine that seems to have hit the apple from the middle of the song, (it sounds like you are over OK and voice) that final voice of George is contained in verse things, is the same length . Mix has been recorded in fairly on feeling. Characters that are printed on the white label of Emidisc is gully printing. Number has been written by hand. Acetate disc of condition is VG +, there cloudy but the face of a board is good. MONO
