Alternate Acetate - EMI
NOTES
Is this an alternate Mono Mix or just an Apple acetate of Take 8 RM2, the auction is of little assistance.
"The record has an apple on the front of it and inside the apple it says ''Across the universe''The Beatles (Mono)Jan-Feb is hand written on the record I believe this was written by one of the Beatles as this record was given to me by a friend who worked with The Beatles at the Apple studios.The record plays perfectly!"
Whilst there is nothing to suggest this is untrue , I have managed to find a 1993 image, from the same magazine the 2005 seller lists, we can only assume therefore that the image was provided to the media by the friend, as the seller does not appear to be aware of the significance of the disc .
