Comments:

In the fall of 1994 a collection of Acetates was sold at auction and received a partial limited release on the G+E label release Songs For Patti, this has been copied very quickly by Yellow Dog and released on their Black Dog label after fairly heavy noise reduction and declicking. Both sources were hard to locate at the time and now All Things Must Pass:Acetate is probably the harder. The Intro.,track one on the G+E release is a bit of Bootlegger fun and was not copied by Black Dog. Which deserved Core status was probably down to personal choice.

The disc art does not represent the disc line up with tracks 12 and 13 being as single track and for this error I live for You is not listed on the artwork. Interestingly the source is listed as the Southeby's Auction.

Yellow Dog continued to work on the G+E material and and in the Summer of 1995 issued a new title, Songs For Patti The Master Tape Version , on their new Strawberry label which had much better noise reduction and de-clicking. The Strawberry release sounds far better , but is NOT from a Mastertape.
