Comments:

A Re-mastering of the Original US compilation of the Ultra Rare Trax. Some sources report this as being done by Vigotone, there is currently NO evidence to confirm or deny this theory , the ONLY re-mastered disc to give any indication is Part 3 with amended rear artwork and a Vigotone Logo .

The closest I can get to confirming is that the Taiwanese mastering for this disc directly precededPart 3 (51360K1) , so clearly the sources will have been passed to the plant at the same time. Both Part 2 Variations are mastered some some time apart 50139K1 and 53092K1.

What I have never seen is any comparison of this titles tracks to Ultra Rare Trax Volume 1 and 2 , if this is re-mastered would this make this core over the Swingin' Pig Titles? Does any one with both fancy doing this and letting me know the results.

Original Comments:

A compilation of two titles for the European Label The Swingin' Pig Ultra Rare Trax Volume 1 + 2 with two bonus tracks. So nothing new on this release, but as both URT1 + 2 remain core and this disc has both , this title is definitely better value.

The disc incorrectly lists 25 tracks and an incorrect playing time, this was not unusual for either the period of release or manufacturer.

Various sources list either this or the identical but red covered title as the first issue , 'sighting' that the quality of the artwork on the other is of lower quality and therefore a fake. When a comparison of the red and blue covers is made side by side with the artwork of the twin with the same disc not one of those numerous variation , see theBack Track's home page , they are identical. There are fakes and the remastered editions have LQ artwork.

If you are able to provide any information to confirm that either one or the other was released first , I must consider that it may have been a joint release , testing out the new Korean pressing plant connection.
