The ninth Lost Lennon Tapes release form Vigotone appeared on a new label Howdy! Records, at the time of heightened activity by the Authorities. Not Surprisingly the title received core status as had the earlier titles. The pirate release has alternate mastering and is probably manufactured by CEDREM using an old Vigotone catalogue number VTCD09 and amended the artwork to look more like the first eight Vigotone labeled releases. The Vigotone.com webs site include an alternate timings for the Howdy release but I suspect this is a copying error, using a Pirate issue and software that reads gaps and the Discs Table of Contents differently. |
