Comments:

The second disc of the first three CD's which myth has believe a student blagged an American CD manufacturer, Technetronics, to produce 5000 discs for an EMI promotion. These were originally offered as a Limited Edition Deluxe Promos to celebrate The Beatles Silver Anniversary of Love Me Do. Offered with the other two discs, without bonus packaging, for over $300, it was not long before they were offered separately. All three titles sold for around $125 a piece. A very steep price for discs sourced from vinyl.

I have only been able to trace details of a numbered version only the 'Sessions' disc, which are hand numbered and limited to 500 copies, if you have any details of a numbered copy please drop me a mail.

In the summer of 1989 the last of the deluxe versions became available at a fraction of the original price and then finally the remaining stock without artwork. I have seen several copies with a simple typed track listing as cover , but these maybe a dealer insert.

The cover artwork is lifted from the equally historic Beeb Transcription album The Beatles At The Beeb Vol.1 which appeared to great acclaim about a year before this CD release and the tracks are a sourced from the first three volumes of the same series.
