I have an early CDR non genuine disc with alternate mastering and I suspect that this is an early DESS release.

2001/2 - was this the Docs first FREE Upgrade or was this system not in place yet

These new upgraded discs will make obsolete and outdated the current Ebbetts audio in your collections. In many cases, audio levels have been adjusted, some extemporaneous noise removed, etc.
