The Doc's vinyl rips of the US A Hard Day's Night Soundtrack are limited and probably explains his thoughts on the title.

I have yet to locate a pre Plasmon (2001) CDR version which probably has the earliest audio version, there is a stereo issue , so I have assumed I have just yet to locate a copy. In Jan 2005 the title received a detailed and comprehensive 'Free' upgrade with new artwork and audio , there appears to be a lack of upgrades since then including to a colour disc with a May 2010 mass mailer showing that it was not still available with a colour label.

There does however appear to have been the infamous audio tweaks, identified by a good ear or a minor label variation to the disc art. As with the majority of US mono titles there was an unreported audio tweak in 2010.
