The Jan 2005 upgrade identified that only Love Me Do and P.S.Love you were from a Version one pressing as the Doc believed that the version 2 pressing has 'superior sound' . This may have been the same for different release but I have been unable to locate confirmation.

The release was issued as standard with the 'Advert - LP' rear tray, but the 'Column' tray was available on request for the original purchase and any subsequent upgrades.

In many cases, audio levels have been adjusted, some extemporaneous noise removed,

Q: Are you aware that your mono versions of "Introducing The Beatles" run
slower on certain tracks?

A: Yes. It is true that certain tracks, like "Twist And Shout" and "There's
A Place" do run slightly slower than, say, the mono versions of those same
songs on the "Please Please Me" album, or even the mono version of "The
Early Beatles" LP. These speed variations, I assure you, were checked,
rechecked and verified to the very best of my ability using three different
turntables (four in the case of this LP). They were also checked and
verified by people much more "Beatles-savvy" than me. The Ebbetts version is
issued the way it is because that is way the original LP was issued. The
vast majority of people don't notice these differences, but some - including
me - do. That's one of the reasons why the upgrades program exists - to make
corrections when needed and to keep this project honest. In this particular
case, after another close inspection of this LP and five test transfers of
three tracks from four different sources, I stand by the transfer of both
mono versions of "Introducing The Beatles" in the Ebbetts catalogue.
