Shortly after the release of the Untouched - Off Elektra Acetate by Idol Mind Products , this fan created label took on the task to clean up the raw CD and produced a version that was considerably better than the bonus CDR offered by IMP with the first editions of their release.

As the existence of the Elektra acetate was not commonly known, research was started and comparisons between this and the tape of an acetate, which was broadcast by WBCN and many other radio stations in 1969. As information and slight variations came to light . Helterskelter Records took the opportunity to review their release and issued an update Get Back: The Elektra Acetate with a couple of patches . This remastered reissue is an improvement and took Core Status.

For this version essentially I started from the beginning, this version is far superior to the original issue - so please delete the original issue, it is not worthless.

This version has been de-clicked, de-crackled, phase, pitch and drop-out repaired, and also the peak limiting on the original disc has been removed.

All tracks should sound far cleaner on the final version, as well as the vocals being much more crisp with minimal break-up.
The acetate was pretty scratchy, so it is impossible to work miracles and get this to sound like a tape source, but I am sure that this final release will please.

Please note: on the original disc there are several moments of vocal break-up, not many, but they do exist. This could be a result of the limiter applied to the original acetate, or this could simply be down to the mic being over-loaded at the time of recording. Vocal break-up as a result of de-clicking should be minimal, as each section has been de-clicked manually.

New artwork has also been made for this final release, modeled on the original Get Back sleeves, I hope you like it.
