This title has managed to retained it's 'Core'
Status since it was first released in 1994, and has been used as a source
for several other Bootleg labels.
Like many other Masterdisc releases the first edition was a limited Edition of only 1000 with latter reissues either being a Gold Disc with amended sleeve artwork. Additionally the First Edition had a EMITAPE sticker on the Jewel Case Cover and some early editions had an insert with more details about the release. |

As with other titles there are FAKES and this appears also to be from Japan , but with Yellow Text/ graphic on a black screen printed disc and no limited edition tray art , it is easy to spot. The Red Robin Disc of the same name and Vigotone's title The Lost Pepperland Reel , are sourced from this disc and have been extended making them somewhat better value. The Red Robin title has the UK Mono mix of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club band and Vigotone brought us11 new tracks , many of these retain 'Core' Status and subsequently with this being an easier title to find you are probably looking to this source for the Pepperland material. Having heard both of the discs with filler the Red Robin version is far easier on the ears. The Choice is yours. |
