The first Nine Songs are copies from the Rare Masterdisc title Secret Songs In Pepperland , the remainder provided us with more new material. The second half of the disc can be hard going to listen to. I for one prefer the Red Robin's line up for their their copy of Secret Songs from Peperland (ROB1011) with the second half of the disc being a mono version of Sgt. Pepper... as usual with Red Robin releases there is a quality issue and yo would not want to choose that as your source. So what we don't have is a Vigotone release with deluxe packaging, but if you are collecting for the music better still we have a title that has retained it's core status for over a decade , and I can not see that it is likely to loose this. You could choose Secret Songs In Pepperland as an alternate source and still have to get this one for the remainder, so I think it would have to be Vigotone over Masterdisc this time. |
