A release that promised so much , and just didn't come up with the goods , a collection of commonly available 'Stereo Mixes' . The packaging from the outside looked promising and possibly be up to Vigotone's standard. The reality though was something else. Inside the slip case is a jewel case and no book. The Inner Cover is a small fold out poster with no detailed track listing and the rear of the tray was just a piece of black glossy card. However when this title was released by the obscure Japanese label in 1995 , it did so without fanfare and went unreported. Which is surprising as it included for the first time 2 and a bit Stereo tracks of the famous Hollywood concert in 1964 and All My Loving with the-Hi hat intro , albeit a probable edit . The remainder of the material is uninspiring and I am sure that a closer inspection will raise concerns over the intros and announcements when I get around to it. Whilst now this title is only for label collectors it is still a desirable disc despite the limited artwork, still attracting premium prices. |
