Liner Notes:

This disc collects all of the Beatles' professional recordings made before their first proper EMI session. Coincidentally, the majority all of these recordings served as audition at some point (to a greater or lesser extent). This collection of the Beatles' Hamburg, Decca Audition and EMI Audition recordings is the perfect prelude to Purple Chick's 'Deluxe Edition' series

A companion Disc " Strong Before Our Birth" Collects all the extant, non-BBC live and informal recordings from their informative years. ( Add our 'Complete BBC Sessions Upgrade for 2004,' and 'Please Please me - Deluxe Edition' , (plus our Star Club set, if we get around to making one ) you'll be set for 1957 to February 1963.)

Comments:

The liner notes and source details below tell the majority of the story. The glitch present in September In The Rain , has had an attempt of repair and the Sweet Georgia Brown backing track FAKE whilst fun is surplus to requirements . But all in a very good release especially for new collectors.
