Comments:

The release notes more than adequately describe the LQ source and repairs undertaken so I shall not repeat these.

Despite I Want You (She's So Heavy), you appearing on the cover and disc art of the original Rubber Soul release it was not present on the album, it has been added to the release from Yellow Dog's 2005 CD release Miscellaneous Tracks . Unfortunately this is a FAKE and contains no Beatles involvement. A typo appears on the rear tray art showing the catalogue number of the original release as SAPCOR 20 rather than SAPCOR 40

A title for absolute completests only.

Release Notes:

Pitch, phase and level corrected from the LP on SAPCOR 40, which was posted to the internet as mp3s transcoded to FLAC.

There were several problems beyond it being mp3: it sounded abysmal. It's among the worst-sounding bootlegs I've ever heard. The speed was all over the map, and it was so out-of-phase that it sounded like stereo. The levels varied wildly in the left and right on every track. The left channel was overdriven into clipping on all tracks. The right was 12 dB or so quieter on some tracks. I wanted to put it on a CD and get it off my hard drive, but I did not want a CD that sounded like this did, however historic it is. So I gave it the treatment, and then I put it on a CD. Now I'm offering it as an exclusive FFF souvenir for those who want it. It will not be posted anywhere else.

It does sound somewhat less crappy than it did, but as I described elsewhere, this is a sow's ear from which a silk purse can never be made! This bootleg is up there (or down there, as the case may be) with "Abbey Road Talks" and "From A Whisper To A Shout" for sound quality (a term used loosely...) but you guys downloaded those, too! What's one more?

It is not recommended that you reconvert these files to mp3, because that will make them sound even worse!
