Comments:

Like the first two releases several sources have sited this disc as a straight clone of the Yellow Dog title of the same name, and that these there Unique Tracks titles were released for the West Coast of the US. If this were true would there not also be a volume 4.

I have had collectors confirm that the Yellow Dog Reissues were available on the West Coast and I have found no evidence to support a geographically based availability, it is also clear that this is not a direct clone of Unsurpassed Masters Vol. 3 YD003.

The disc has been remastered so as to avoid the error on the first joint Sphinx / Yellow Dog Release, and as the result of a different approach we have some small items not on the Yellow Dog reissue and some additional tape silence making the difference in timings plus some are tracks are fractionally longer either at the beginning or end.

On a quick preview I have managed to spot the following :

tr 9 . Strawberry Fields Forever Take 7 , after the fade of the song we have several Piano notes that I have not heard on other versions , including Pegboy's It's Not To Bad

tr 13. Intro to Hello Goodbye has not been edited by the bootlegger. Paul's count in " 1, 2 , 3 , 4 is still present at around 30 seconds into the track .

It is for the count in which makes this rather than Yellow Dog's title Core material. It should be noted that the original mis-mastered Volume 3 also has a single channel of the count in.
