The third reissue from Yellow Dog to replace the 'one track' mis-presses previously released and boy was it worth waiting. In 1990 this title was difficult to come by, and still is if you a re looking for an original, this led to the release of various cloned albums on other labels. All seem to have teh same error on the CD artwork of saying Vol. 3 (1964-1965) rather than (1965-1967) This is very much the position still , the labels have changed but this title is still very available as a clone or Yellow Dog Fake with a choice of artwork and packaging from slip case to digipak. Unfortunaltely whilst remastering the source tape Yellow Dog has deleted some material that was available. 1. Pauls Count in to Hello Goodbye is in one channel on the miss press and very muffled and on the Unique Tracks edition is still very clear. 2. There are a collection of piano notes after Strawberry Fields Forever Take 7 only on the Unique Tracks Version in the tape run off. |
