Comments:

The second Run Devil Run installment from Yellow Dog Japan, this time concentrating solely on Paul's return to the Cavern Club, well the rebuilt Cavern Club, on the 14th December 1999. Strawberry Records having already released the Cavern show in February on their release Let's Have A Party did not issue a European pressing on the Yellow Dog label. The eagle eyed will spot the use of the same images to create both releases.

Despite what appears to be poor tuning of the FM source or heavy Noise Reduction, this title will retain core status for the original I Saw Her Standing There vocal and the interview material. The interview was recorded on the 14 December but I have been unable to trace either a better copy or any more details.

Unfortunately reviewing this title is somewhat difficult without the ability to cross refer with the other six sources, as identified in greater detail in the excellent book Eight Arms To Hold You. What is apparent though is that with the release of the official DVD release all of these titles are now for hard core collector only and even then it is not complete , with the edited introduction to Party. If you want to just listen to the 'Cavern Show' I would recommend Let's Have A Party despite this being slightly less complete and having the channels reversed.

Whilst I have seen suggestion of a European release, I have been unable to trace any evidence to support this, please provide details if you have a copy.
