Comments:

Numerous repressings of the Yellow Records release of Yellow Matter Custard, from the same Master. The producers behind the Single Title Label/ White Cover Folks , STL/WCF, expand beyond multi coloured slicks to printed sheets which are folded into gatefolder sleeves. This lasted for approximately two years prior to printed sleeves and Berkeley Labels.

During this period there were numerous pressing with variation in the sleeve colour and labels, of which he majority were recycled from commercially released singles, enabling a rudimentary dating of the variations.

As with all pressings of this release the matrix on side A is partially under the label unless pressed with a smaller label originally planned for a 7" single.

Alternate Labels

With the exception of the 'Numbered Label' , I have only seen white labels associated with this release the majority of which have been recycled commercial labels flipped, it is not unusual to have the same label on both sides of the release, which regularly lead to them been written on. I have yet to see a release using labels from two companies but there is no reason why they couldn't' exist.
