NOTES

The first time I came across this disc was in 2005, when it appeared twice on the eBay, it was unclear of the vinyl pressing on the first appearance, but the second clearly identified the matrices, which seem to match the 1982/3 reissue of the UK single.

Auction Description - 2020

This was listed last week and then I withdrew it after a question about the matrix numbers not matching a 60's release and therefore the authenticity of the record. I looked into it and so did the other person, but there is still no exact clear answer. I cannot find the exact matrix on any other releases and therefore cannot match it with anything out there. One like this sold on ebay in 2013 for £800 but with no matrix numbers in the listing, so I could check against. https://www.popsike.com/BEATLES-DICK-JAMES-DEMO-From-Me-to-You-Thank-you-Girl/121188841821.html
This is what is on the record.

7XCE 17329-3-1 STAMPED and then 1-10 etched. This is on the From me to you side. There are no other stamps on this side.

On the 'Thank You Girl' side 7XCE 17330-2 stamped and if that is at 6 'o clock then there is a stamped 4 at 9 o clock and a stamped 7 at 3 o'clock.

This was bought with a collection of other Beatles demos back in the early 2000's which were all genuine and bought in good faith that this was what it was and a genuine Dick James demo.

For all intents and purposes this looks like the real thing and certainly has the age on both the label and the vinyl to be genuine.

Without the matrix certainty, I therefore cannot honestly say whether this is genuine or not and will price accordingly and let bidders decide.
