COVER: M Plain white sleeve. not original. What makes this so rare is that this acetate has been cut especially for Dick James Music and NOT for Parlophone who were the record label. As is commonly known, Dick James's involvement as publisher was very short lived so this really is a piece of Beatles History

RECORD (VISUAL): VG has various hairlines and a couple of light scratch marks but nothing deep or too serious. The Dick James label is stuck over a US Melodisc label. The reverse side is blank and has the Melodisc label with "Beatles", "Please Please me", "Parlophone" and "21/1/63" written in pencil on it

RECORD (PLAY): VG I have played the first few seconds only as this is an acetate. there appears to be plenty of crackle and background noise which is only to be expected with probably one of the first demos of this classic Beatles record. I doubt that there are many, if any, of these in existence anywhere in the world!
