Auction description - 2004Very rare 1963 acetate from the Beatles 'Please Please Me' this one here is very old and odd! This has the white label with 'Dick James Music Limited' demonstration record in blue print.also the artist 'the beatles' and the title in blue print as well.the catalog number is (tem 1687/8)the b side too this has the 'Melodisc' label from new york.the a side label has a punch hole below the 45 r.p.m.print.the 'Dick James label has a 2 inch tear but all info in still there.i have tracked this and it plays very well with no skipping at all, considering the age of this disc it displays very well with a vg grading but nevertheless very rare and odd. |
