Swiftly after the the updated artwork and tracks for version 1b, which is probably why a single additional track led to a new version rather than just an upgrade. The addition of a Duophonic version of I Feel Fine from a Japanese EP. Not really essentially listening , but very much in line with the ethos of the Back To Basic series.

The review in The 910 guide highlighted what it consider to be several deficiencies. After reviewing these only two were accepted and so Version 2.1 was created, 6 Aug, including a few missing pre take note on I'm A Loser, Disc 1 Track 6 and I Feel Fine dry mix with a narrower stereo separation. With little difference between this and the common Take 9 this new mix was left as a hidden bonus track and neither the tray or inside 3 were amended. the booklet page for Disc 1 Track 6 was updated. .

The fourth release in the excellent series of Studio Sessions Back To Basics , with a clear idea of which tracks to be included means there is less likely to be the multiple version with earlier titles, that is not to say that any new or improved material will not be added.

Unfortunately the first line up of 37 tracks on disc 2 was too large so was quickly amended with it becoming a 34/34 track compilation.

As with earlier titles in the series Factory Pressed versions quickly appeared on the Secret Garden, Smilin Ears labels , the latter adding to the track listing. This time a new label Extract Factory , also known for pressing Fan Created titles issued a version.
