Brian requested a song for another one of his artists,Bill J Kramer, and John obliged whist he was on holiday in Spain in the spring of 1963. Billy J Kramer and The Dakotas recording went on to be a no'1 hit in the UK. The only known Beatles related recording is an acoustic demo sung by John and Paul. We are only aware of this demo, because of an acetate cut for Dick James & Co I assume for copyright purposes. |
