I have now had the opportunity to study this and several other Picador releases and what is apparent is that they are pressed from various sourced Glass Masters , some of which are identified as Chapter One Yellow Dog Fakes. As is this one. It is unclear whether this label is related or whether they have merely acquired the masters. Whether they are or are not , it pulls into question the authenticity of the Yellow Dog 5xx matrix Unsurpassed Masters Volumes 1-4.

Whilst this is volume 6 of a set of 7, 'Can You Hear me in The Cans?' titles it appears that it was not released simultaneously with Volume 1-5 ,with the alternate Coloured disc art , lack of inner 'scorpion' sleeve and far higher 'Golden Archive Volume Number;. it may however just be a latter reissue. Have you seen version with Blue and Gold disc art and a Scorpion inner Sleeve, if so please drop me a line.

The card sleeves are High Gloss Monochrome generic covers , with a track listing on the rear, no where does it mention the artist. This is probably as the result of the proactive actions of the authorities around the time of it's release.

All volumes have a small white round sticker usually on the top Right Hand corner of the rear confirming the Discs title and artist, but not volume number.

This seems to be one of a popular series , but , I don't understand why. I for one would prefer an Original Yellow Dog and Jewel case release.
