Chapter One's release of the Unsurpassed Masters Volume 6 from Yellow Dog, some people have suggested that I refrain from calling titles suggest as this as Fake but rather reissues.On this occasion it would not be possible as it has been suggested that both this and Volume 7 from 'C1' made the streets before their source discs from Yellow Dog. I have been unable to obtain confirmation of this , however the definitely made it to the streets quickly.
I have used the artwork for an original Yellow Dog pending receipt of C1 artwork. The artwork on Volume 7 is a clear copy being slightly fuzzy and darker. With the sound waves missing from the Logo on the rear cover , I assume where they have tidied up the copied artwork.
As with other Fakes from this camp the stock is different and dull. The mastering of the disc is also different , but not enough to worry all but completest or label collectors.
Chapter One Fakes of this period tend to have three variations, so I would be obliged for scans of the artwork and alternate discs.
