However, whilst the original error was identified in the fall of 2004, replacement discs were not issued until March 2005, and new purchases as early as January 2005 had the new rip.

Release Notes:

This, of course, is the German stereo version of the "Please Please Me" LP -much discussed and talked about at the various Beatle forums out there in cyber-space. Thanks to a very gracious Beatle person out there, I've been able to create this title for the offering. It is much heralded amongst Beatle people for being a version of that first LP that has not been subjected to any processing or equalization. In effect, it is advertised as the "truest" and "purest" vinyl representation of the initial 14 Beatle songs ever offered in long play form. It has been sourced from a beautiful copy of the original LP. It is now offered as part of the Dr. Ebbetts collection,
complete with original artwork.
