Comments:

The final disc of the excellently presented Queleque Chose De Noveau box set, as with the other releases we are present with a collection of previously released material Chemed around a single album. I have not cross referenced each version at this stage, but there is one glaring error on the track listing . That Means A Lot is Take 21 or 22, which ever it turns out to be , not take 23 and 24 as listed.

Whilst this and other 'Alternate' reelases continue to be very popular, I must admit to not being able to get excited by them. This limited edition box set has had more effort put in than most themed releases and teh single discs released a year latter are probably not as desireble as I am sure that collectors will prefer the series being made by Pear Records, a sister label, who appear to have currently left PDP001-5 unused is this for a future release of the first five albums.

In 2003 copies appeared as stand alone releases , there were sufficient that I belive that this was intentional rather than just soem box sets were split , but i have no evidence eitherway.

Interesting in 2004 Pear Records eventually issued the first five albums , but without the usual PDP catalogue numbers, there was no suggestion of a catalogue number so the bar-code ID 71012-5001-5 has been used as the reference by many. On closer inspection the master used is the same, at last confirming the connection between the two labels. In my opinion the better of the two packaging is the STATB release , but with no follow up to the box set, I suspect that the collectors preference will be wit the Pear release.
